VideoLatitude Dispatch Server
VideoLatitude Dispatch Server is the central node of the VideoLatitude Solution. It allows several distant users to access simultaneously the video feeds transmitted by the mobile sites.All the information is sent over IP networks, so a user in Montreal and a user in Tokyo can watch simultaneously the same real-time video stream from a VideoLatitude Live computer transmitting from Sydney!
Furthermore, it includes an efficient administrative tool to manage your fleet. It provides a secure web-based access point for the administrators of the fleet to manage mobile sites, users and communications:
- Remote connection through a secure (https) web page compatible with standard web browsers
- Management of the mobile site and the users of the fleet
- Management of groups to restrict user access to selected mobile sites
- Log of all the communications between mobile sites and clients
- Log of the bandwidth usage
- Export of logs in xml or csv formats compatible with Microsoft™ Excel™ and other applications

Hosted Service
VideoLatitude Dispatch Server is offered as a service hosted on gpsLatitude dedicated servers. For a monthly or yearly fee, the service includes access to the streams in your fleet, support, updates and data backups. Servers are located in a secure location where only authorized personnel has physical access to the computers. You can enjoy all the Dispatch Server functionalities without any server maintenance issues.
Customer owned, secure, full turn-key solutions
For security or confidentiality reasons, some organizations may prefer having the Dispatch Server computer in their own location. VideoLatitude offers 3 server systems (Squadron, Bataillon and Brigade) adapted to different fleet sizes from small ones (25 mobile sites and less) to very large ones (500 mobile sites or more).All the server systems come fully installed (hardware and software), tested and configured for the fleet. They all use hard drives with RAID redundancy for data security, redundant power supply and hot-swappable drive trays to minimize downtimes in case of hardware failure.
